Tanvi Pothiredy - Experience

I would like to share an experience that Baba thatha and Guruji thatha gave me during Gurupoornima, My mom and I had booked two tickets for a flight from Hyderabad to Tirupati. The day of our departure, everything ran as usual. You know, scrambling to meet everyone one last time, last minute gifts and packing, things of that sort. Our flight time was at 6:15, we had filled up the car by 4:15, but still had one more family friend to meet. It was around 4:30 when we came out of their house, and 4:40 by the time we got back on track. I was so worried throughout the car ride. Google Maps showed us that we would reach the airport by 5:45. Half an hour is impossible to go through check-in, security check, and finally reach the gate! What if the flight leaves without us? What if we don’t make it?! What if we have to take the driver and car all the way to Tirupati just because we missed the plane?

Around halfway through, I suddenly remembered the experience in Bound to Love when Guruji Thatha delayed a flight he and a few other Guru Bandhus had booked. I decided to ask Baba and Guruji Thatha, for maybe they could help me out, too. I silently wished for our plane to delay for 30 minutes at the very least. A few minutes later, my mom’s phone got a notification that our flight departure had been delayed to 6:50! I was extremely surprised and happy that Baba and Guruji Thatha had listened to my prayers and helped us during this quandary. :)

Another short experience: The day before my eighth grade started, I had a peculiar dream. There were two boats, ready to sail, and I remember being on the second one while my mom was on the first. There were a few other people on my small boat, including Sruti Akka, Ammagaru, and a girl around my age nicknamed Triangle. The weirdest part is that we weren’t sailing in the sea. We were sailing in a grocery store. Yes, a grocery store. People from my boat were getting down and filling it up with all kinds of food and other objects so that we could use them during our journey. While wrapping up, Ammagaru came and sat back inside the boat. At that time, Sruti Akka was putting a bottu on her forehead. She turned to me, and, seeing that I didn’t have a bottu on, she stuck one on my forehead too. Then, Ammagaru adjusted it to the middle and smiled. After I woke up, I was ecstatic! I’m so grateful for this funny and

memorable dream. Saincidentally, the dream came right before my school year started.
